The Waiting Room

A surreal interior unfolds beneath a sequence of endless arches, drawing the viewer towards a distant light beyond the horizon. Two empty armchairs sit in quiet opposition, inviting reflection and suggesting an unspoken dialogue between presence and absence, certainty and uncertainty.

Rich crimson, burgundy and deep teal tones create a dreamlike atmosphere that feels both familiar and otherworldly. The repeating architecture evokes the passage of time and the cyclical nature of memory, while the ascending staircase symbolises transition, growth and the unknown paths that lie ahead.

Blending elements of classical architecture with psychological symbolism, The Waiting Room explores the spaces we inhabit between moments of change. It asks viewers to consider what it means to pause, reflect and wait for the next chapter to reveal itself.
