I’ve been wanting to make a painting of the Leaning Tower of Pisa for a while, but I didn’t yet have the right idea for it—until one day, I was sketching and the image of this painting flashed in my mind for a split second. I saw the colors, the rocks, the curtain—everything, just as you see it now.
I quickly drove home and got started. First, I had to take a photo of myself in that position as a reference, and then I began. I was very excited to show everyone this idea, I knew it would be weird but I loved it
