Before starting this piece, I had already completed all the artworks I wanted to bring to The Other Art Fair in Melbourne.
My initial intention was simply to paint something while waiting for the event. However, as I worked on it, I became so invested that I ended up finishing it before the fair and decided to bring it with me.
My favorite parts of this piece are the colors and the little figure sitting under the tree—I think it adds a unique element to the composition.
